Celebration Of "Slow Food"

The wine and food society of Clark County gathered in the fireplace room in the student union building at clark college around 6:00pm to enjoy the celebration of slow food. The menu included: pasta with parmesan chicken, roasted red peppers asparagus, feta, spinach and pine nuts, fruit plate and fresh baked focaccia bread. There was also a No-host wine reception, with free wine tasting from Klickitat Canyon Winery, and wine for sale along with several local vendors who sell whole food products with displays. A fascinating lecture on the "Pleasure of slow food" was given by Tracy Reilly Kelly. The cost was 45$ to get in.
