November 10, 2007 - SOLD OUT! Saturday, November 10, 2007 Fall is in the air and it’s a great time to get the fireplace burning and gather around with friends and family. November starts our holiday season so what better way to kick off the chill in the air than a hearty Harvest Dinner paired with a great wine from East Wenatchee, Fielding Hills. Please join us for an evening of cooking demonstration by Karen Lasher, owner/chef of Around-The-Table restaurant in Camas, WA, and Peter Hecheverio, former sous Chef of Roots restaurant. These two very accomplished chefs will share their talents and expertise for a fun cooking demonstration and serve up a multi-course harvest dinner for us to savor and enjoy. Fielding Hills, out of East Wenatchee, WA, is developing
a great reputation for producing quality award winning Syrahs, Merlots
and Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Wine Enthusiast magazine’s March
2007 issue featured Fielding Hills 2004 Merlot in their cover story
about the best 45 Merlots in the world. Wine Spectator magazine rated
their Syrahs and blends with a 90 or better rating in their February
2007 issue. Seattle Times ranked their 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon #3
in their choice of top 100 Washington State wines of 2006. This promises to be a very entertaining as well as educational evening to sit back, watch the cooking demonstration and become introduced to a new wine, which was paired against Leonetti in a blind tasting and won! Mark your calendar for November 10th at 7 pm. Cost per person will be $55 per person for members, $60 per person for non-members, including the wine. To learn more about the chef or wines visit : |

Around-The-Table 316 NE Dallas St.
Camas, WA 98607 360-834-0171 Our historic red brick building has been part of the thriving downtown Camas community since the 1920s. After a loving restoration of our space, we combined the building's past with our own future. The original rustic brick wall hugs a dining room filled with family-style tables. Small tables nestled in the corners are perfect for the couple that prefers a more intimate experience. A large granite-topped island and open cooking space provide a great seat to watch one of our chefs at work or learn new culinary skills during one of our cooking classes. We feel blessed to be a part of the ongoing tradition of charming downtown Camas, providing a warm space to celebrate community, friends and food around the table. Fielding Hills Winery 1401 Fielding Hills Drive
East Wenatchee, WA 98802 509-884-2221 Creating truly premiums reds wines is our primary goal; but also will be our desire to produce a wine that can help make any occasion a special one. By using only time honored small lot winemaking methods, combined with only the finest ingredients (grown at our affiliated vineyards in Mattawa, WA), we believe our wines truly excel. We also hope that by sharing with you many of the details of our winemaking experiences that you can become more connected to our wines. Only time and tastings will prove the results of our efforts. Please tour our web site to learn more about us! Hand crafting premium red wine takes lots of time. From harvest to release for sale is a period of 2 years! The longest portion of the process is aging the wine in barrel for at least 18 months. Then it is bottled where it will age for another 3 months. As I learn more and more about winemaking I am continually struck with the mixture of art and science to this effort. With each passing season I am able to learn more and peel away some of the mystery of winemaking. When it all comes together it is very satisfying. Each vintage has presented unique challenges, but the end result has been some wonderful wine. It is a very pleasant experience to share a bottle of really good wine with friends and know it is yours! View our ratings online now!
