North Williamette Valley - McMinnville - established 2005
About McMinnville McMinnville is a charming small town situated just about at the center of the Willamette Valley, convenient to all the region's wineries. Founded in 1844, it has a long history as a farming community. McMinnville is home to Linfield College, a small private college chartered in 1858. The International Pinot Noir Celebration is held there every summer. McMinnville is also home to Chemeketa Community College, home of a growing center for enology and viticultural training. McMinnville's "Wine Alley" is a downtown area where a dozen or so wineries are based. The region immediately surrounding McMinnville is home to many wineries, restaurants, and B&Bs. McMinnville
